Matthew has experience working on a variety of commercial law matters ranging from contract drafting, reviews and negotiation to dispute resolution. Initially having trained in dispute resolution and being involved in high value and complex commercial arbitration and high court proceedings while employed at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs Inc., Matthew has shifted his focus towards corporate and commercial law.

Matthew is a core team member for a key managed legal services client based in London and operating across Europe. In this role Matthew manages the matter intake process and supports the client’s technology procurement contracting.

Matthew has performed commercial contract drafting and review services for multinationals in South Africa and Australia and has been involved in due diligences for other multinational corporations in a variety of jurisdictions including Canada and the UK.

Matthew has worked on supplier agreements, consumer agreements and Master Service Agreements within the telecommunications and technology sector.

Matthew recently completed his Masters in Corporate and Commercial Law at Queen Mary, University of London where he was also a research assistant for the Council of Europe, involved with researching and drafting a Report focussing on internet and technology law in Europe.
