Muddathir Sulaiman

Muddathir started his internship with the Lighthouse Academy in 2022. He was born and raised in Cape Town, where he matriculated at Windsor High School in 2015, and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree (in History and Law) in 2018, and a post-graduate LLB in 2020, both from the University of Cape Town (UCT).

Muddathir has a keen interest in the field of commercial law, particularly contractual law, and commercial transactions. At University he enjoyed participating in mock trials, grappling with complex legal issues, and thinking critically of the law.

Muddathir also served as a mentor to new law students at UCT in their Mentorship Programme; and volunteered at LAWCO where he and other law students taught high school learners’ constitutional law.

He enjoys keeping physically active, playing football and basketball, and is an avid hiker. Muddathir is excited to be joining the Academy and Lighthouse Law, growing his skills and knowledge within commercial law, and gaining valuable experience from his internship with Lighthouse Law.
